Dr. Susana Herrick was born and raised in New York. She received her bachelor of science degree from Central Connecticut State University. While at CCSU she played Division 1 volleyball and lacrosse. She attended the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, receiving her degree as Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2008. During dental school, Dr. Herrick went on a mission trip to Belize to provide dental care to local residents. She also volunteered at the South Park Homeless Shelter, Give Kids a Smile, Ct Mission of Mercy, and the Special Olympics. She continued her education after dental school by completing a one-year General Practice Residency at Hartford Hospital. During residency, she furthered her knowledge and experience in all facets of general dentistry. She also received additional training experience in the care of medically compromised patients, facial trauma, emergency care, and anesthesiology. This allowed her to offer comprehensive treatment to patients of all ages and disabilities.

In 2009, Dr. Herrick began working here as as an associate and became a partner in 2015. In 2019 Dr. Herrick became sole owner of the practice. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and an active member of The Spears Education Study Club. She is committed to continuing her dental education in order to better serve her patients. She regularly attends seminars and information sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies.
Dr. Herrick resides in Glastonbury with her husband Zach and their two daughters, Isabella and Gabriella. In her spare time, Dr. Herrick enjoys all forms of fitness especially weight lifting and CrossFit, watching and coaching her children’s sporting activities, and spending time with her family.
